the two tortoises wanted to get married, but they could not find another tortoise to marry them. they were the only two tortoises they knew.
so they called the guru and asked him to preside over the wedding. he agreed, but they regretted their decision: he rushed through the whole thing, spending only a couple hours on the vows.
still, they tipped him well: an entire head of lettuce.
