when he returned from his honeymoon, the tortoise went to the lake to talk with his friend the guru. he told his friend how in love he was with his new wife.
the guru said, “ah, you love her like i love truth.”
the tortoise said, “you lie all the time.”
the guru said, “you love her like the sunflower loves the sun.”
the tortoise said, “no, because the sunflower waits for the sun, but i would chase my tortoise.”
the guru said, “then how much do you love her?”
the tortoise said, “i love her as much as i love lettuce.”
