the guru said, “why did you wander into these dark woods alone?”
and the tortoise replied, “why did you follow me?”
the guru said, “because you are my friend.”
the tortoise said, “i left because i thought that wasn’t true. is it?”
the guru reached inside his pocket and withdrew a piece of lettuce. “does this answer your question?”
