the sunflower asked the banker for a loan.
“what would you spend it on?” the banker asked.
the sunflower said she would spend it on a pot. if she had a pot, she would be able to enjoy the sun without worrying about her soil drying out.
the banker gave her the loan. he then went and purchased all of the pots in the village. when she tried to buy one, he charged her all the money she had borrowed.
when she complained that that was mean, he said, “that’s business.”
